GMA
After dozing for a few hours I finally heard (and saw) Bayang Barrios' song. I remember during the time my work sched started at 4AM, I would wake up at 1AM to prepare and I would sometimes catch that song being played, the late Dan Campilan singing it. Every time, I would feel sad. It's not enough that the song itself is sad, GMA had to associate it with the death of Dan Campilan.
Wishing everyone a better year next year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

DFA probes racial profiling of Filipinos in California
This news is about an American kid getting abducted by men whom he indentified as Filipinos:
THE Department of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday that it was investigating reports that several Filipinos in the Union City in Alameda County, California, were in an uproar after a nine-year-old American boy who escaped a kidnap attempt identified his would-be abductors as Filipinos.A California-based Filipino community newspaper, the Philippine News, reported that the Union City Police received a phone call on December 5 from the Pioneer School Principal about a foiled kidnapping of one of the school’s pupils.
Read the rest of story here.
This news is kinda alarming. Either the kid is right, that the kidnappers are Filipinos; or the kid is wrong but "brown skinned criminals" are Filipinos.
*Sigh*

Streaking!
Every year, students from the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity (APO) of the University of the Philippines run around campus naked but with faces covered--called streaking--as some sort of offering to their beloved fraternity on its anniversary as part of their tradition. APO celebrates its anniversary every last school day of December. This year, the Oblation Run had another purpose: sign of protest for the impending tuition fee hike.
The participants, members of the UP fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, held their "Oblation run"-- named after the University's symbol of freedom -- at about noontime, according to APO Grand Chancellor Max Quijano.
Quijano said the Oblation run coincided with a scheduled meeting of the Board of Regents, UP's highest policy-making body. The BOR might decide Friday whether to impose an 80 percent tuition increase.
The tuition fee will be increased from 300 PHP to 1,000PHP per unit. Whew! No wonder these kids are running around naked, soon they won't be able to afford clothes anymore!
Meanwhile, Senator Aquilino Pimentel Jr. criticized the University for allowing these students to run naked on campus.Meanwhile, Senator Aquilino Pimentel Jr. criticized the University for allowing these students to run naked on campus. In a statement, Pimentel said he could not see any purpose or logic why male students, their faces covered with balaclavas or rolled up t-shirts, have to shed off their clothes and expose private parts "except to provoke voyeuristic tendency or create lewd thoughts among the spectators."
"I ask the UP administration why they allow students to publicly go naked and display their private parts. What benefit does this public institution, paid by people's
money, get out of it?" he said.
The Senator's is such a stick in the mud. That's freedom of expression, kaya nga Oblation run eh.
I remember during my time we paid something like P24 or 27/unit. Students then would protest by delaying their payment till the last day, meaning we had to wait till there was a rollback so we won't have to pay the new rate. Of course, walang nangyari, I ended up paying a late fee of P50, which was a lot then.
If the people's taxes pay for the institution, why do these students need to pay 1,000PHP per unit? Confusing. One of these days parents will start running on campus naked someday.

Married Christian Couples Should Have More and Hotter Sex!
This article was written by Brian Alexander who attended a seminar called "love, Sex and Marriage" given by preacher Joe Beam who runs and outfit called Family Dynamics. He expected the preacher to condemn the typical American sexual culture but was surprised when he heard some tips on making semen sweeter. His message: Married Christians should have more - and hotter - sex.
No inhibitionsThis literalist view cuts both ways. Beam has been attacked by some conservative Christians for his liberal take on certain subjects. Much of what he preaches contradicts the teaching of other sects, such as Roman Catholicism. But he argues that if the Bible does not forbid it, you can do it. So bring on masturbation. Try any position in the Kama Sutra (but refer to drawings, please, not pictures of real people). Wife away on business? Have phone sex. Birth control is good. Even anal sex is OK if (and Beam believes this is a big if) it does no harm to the body.

Dami kong gustong isulat at ikuwento. Kaso tuyot na utak ko. Grabe ang epekto ng kulang sa tulog ang kulang sa sustansya. Nakakapang hina at nakaka bobo.

I'm sure nakaka entertain ang book nya gauging from his writing style. Manuel L. Quezon III calls him "mabait pero medyo bastos." That alone should give us all an idea what to expect from BatJay's book.
Say nyo, P100 lang pala sya! Mura na tapos nakakaaliw pa. Sulit na sulit ang P100 natin!!!

Tis the Season for "Hold-ups", Robberies, Muggings and Carjackings
HUUUWWAAAATTTTT???
Yesterday, I nearly arrived late and I told everyone our ride got held up by some accident. Then Carlo asked me, "You got held up too?" I guess he was hoping someone else could relate to what happened to him that day. Tuesday morning, a guy came up to him and asked for his wallet. I'm not sure if the guy had a knife. We think the guy was in dire need of cash kasi he didn't ask for Carlo's cellphone, just the wallet and the money inside, of course. He lost his las P500, his baon for the entire week.
This morning, on his way to work, 4 men held up their jeep. One man brought out a gun. Carlo checked out the gun, it was real. Ilan lang silang napag tripan: Carlo, a student, and this lady who just arrived from Bahrain. I guess they saw Carlo's bulge, the front pocket of his pants, kaya nakuha na cellphone niya. The student had his nN73(?) with him pero wala na ngayon. Ang biro namin, binalikan ang cellphone nya kasi nakalimutan the last time. Hehehe.
Pag dating sa Buendia police station he saw 5 more people filing a report, mukhang maraming nakawan at holdapan this morning. A bus load full of passengers was robbed early this morning, yung oras na petiks ang pulis siguro. An Assumption student had to go to the police station barefooted kasi tinangay ng holdaper ang kanyang sapatos.
Ayus!
Ingat na lang sa mga holdap at nakawan. Tis the season... Malapit na kasi ang Pasko?

Talking about Sex
2 years ago, I stumbled upon Mec’s blog through G’s links. That time Mec’s latest post was on how she would want to be touched, her errogenous zones. I told G it’s pretty amazing how Mec can just express herself in that manner on her blog. G agreed that Mec is amazing, only a few Filipinas are open to discussing sex, openly admitting engaging in pre marital sex and some seemed prude because they wouldn’t admit they’re not virgins anymore. I told G to some Filipinos here, sex is still kinda taboo. I told her my experiences, how people react to me when I talk about sex so she could get an idea why SOME women don’t want to talk about sex and their sexual experiences.
If a woman openly admits that she’s had sexual relations with her boyfriend, she would be perceived as cheap or a woman with no morals. Some years ago, I had this gym friend who was also from UP, who proclaimed herself as an ultra-feminist. One day, things got really sticky between me and her because of my ex bf. I admitted to her that I’d been intimate with my ex a couple of times and lo and behold! She gave me a haughty look, one eyebrow raised and said, “You know, us in the academe, we consider women who have sex as sluts!” I was shocked! I couldn’t believe a self proclaimed ultra feminist would call a sexually enlightened person a slut. Hehehe. I guess she was hurt to learn I was desirable to my ex and not her.
On the other hand, when a woman talks openly to men about her sexlife or when she admits to being “not a virgin” anymore, some men perceive this as an invitation to have sex with this woman, and to some degree, they think this woman can be treated like dirt. And if a woman doesn’t want to discuss sex with a man, after all the coaxing and pleading and prodding from him, he will call her frigid or prude or a hypocrite. I remember one time, there was this guy who kept bugging me to talk about sex and the details of my sex life. I didn’t want to but after calling me maarte and a prude I got pissed and I relented. A few minutes into the talk I realized he was already wanking. Sheesh!
When I talk about sex, I usually talk about sex in general, I usually leave out details of my sex life as much as possible, I only talk about the gory details of my sex life to SOME friends, not all. I choose the people I talk to about sex, I choose the friends whom I should trust and the level of trust I give them. Why do I do this? Well, not all of my friends are comfortable with the topic. I’ve been “harassed” by male friends once they learn I am “open minded”. Some will try to poke and prod till I give in, some will be good to me even if I turn them down, others will take NO for an answer and diss you.
Medyo nagmamadali na ako so I have to show you nalang this edited conversation I had with a friend. He was surprised to see my pic there and he wanted to confirm it was me. Of course I didn’t admit nor did I deny, I wanted to play him. He used his graphic description of sex on me to either turn me on or diss me, it didn’t work. Kaya ayun, ayaw na ako kausapin. Hehehe.
Petpeeve ko: men who is soooo out there horny, those who are I-have-a-big-dick-I-swear! and the you-can’t-believe-how-good-I-am-in-bed types, those who shout “i’m sooo horny and soooo good in bed you should try me, I’ll fuck your brains out I promise! I’m really well hung!” Yeah right! I find this crass and crude. MAJOR TURN OFF! I think a man with a working brain and a good sense of humor is a lot sexier. Sex isn’t everything.
Antonio: ur pic looks familiar
ME: really?
ME: i dont know what to say…maybe somone has stolen my pic somewhere
Antonio: no
Antonio: i think i have seen u in person
ME: when and where?
Antonio: some years back
Antonio: in an eb party
ME: does it matter who i am?
ME: assuming i am this girl, so what?
Antonio: i guess so
ME: well it doesnt matter
Antonio: well its a big change
ME: you said so yourself
Antonio: she was very conservative and now u seem so open minded
Antonio: i like you better like this
ME: i dont know what to say
Antonio: cos we were very good friends
ME: i have a pic on my profile
ME: you dont
Antonio: i can put a pic thats not me on my profile like many people do
Antonio: but i would rather show my pic to those who are interested in what I say more than how i look
Antonio: im not ugly, im not fat, im not bald
Antonio: like i said ur pic looks exactly like that i girl I know
ME: so are you hinting that i may have just used someone else’s pic?
Antonio: i am not hinting at anything, one thing i am not is judgemental
ME: you’re not? really?
Antonio: i am just a horny bastard looking for a woman who is as horny as I am
Antonio: my wife is a nurse who spend 1 month of the year in the phils, so what will i do…fuck once a year
ME: the girl you know, you said she’s conservative, right?
Antonio: well she used to be, but everyone changes
Antonio: i wish she was you
ME: why? what am i?
Antonio: ur more libearated and open minded
ME: and she’s not?
Antonio: well she wasn’t then
ME: my point here is what you said about you not judgemental
Antonio: no im not
ME: the mere fact that you called one person not openminded and not liberated makes you judgemental
Antonio: i respect people’s choices and dont question their reasons for their decisions
ME: just because one person doesnt jive with what you want doesnt make her a freak
Antonio: well we are all judgemental to some degree. I called her that because she herself told me that she was conservative
ME: maybe she is open minded, she just doesnt want to open her mind to you
Antonio: so it wasnt a judgement i made
Antonio: well whether or not she is will all be up to her
ME: then i dont think it’s right to say she’s not open minded just because she has refused to go with your flow
ME: i’ve been in this lifestyle a short time but one thing i learned, people here show respect inorder to get respect
Antonio: i respected her beliefs and thats what made us close then
ME: just because one guy likes to wear a woman;s underweart doesnt make him less of a man
ME: but you called her not open minded
Antonio: and i never judged her. She is the one who would always say that she was conservative cos she had a lot of hangups about sex
ME: if you are an asshole and yet she maintained friendship with you then she definitely had an open mind
Antonio: no she said that
ME: so if she has hang ups? are you her shrink?
ME: are you her lover?
ME: you equate having hang ups as someone who wont go with you?
Antonio: nope just someone who would listen to her talk about it
Antonio: i dont…she did
Antonio: i would just listen to her
Antonio: u there
ME: yeah.. why?
Antonio: was just looking at ur pic
ME: and?
Antonio: ur pretty just like my friend
Antonio: but mataray
ME: so are you interested in BDSM or you were just luring me?
Antonio: im interested
ME: do you think you can manage to buy a strap on?
Antonio: yeah i saw one in a store in malate
Antonio: and what will i do with the strap on
Antonio: ur gonna put iit on?
ME: just incase we decide to play
Antonio: so that means u will have to get naked for to use it
ME: who says i need to getnaked?
Antonio: ok
ME: have you had any luck with the ladies on aff?
Antonio: some
Antonio: actually only a couple of them
Antonio: the rest are all talk
ME: im thinking of quitting aff
ME: not my kind of community
Antonio: why?
Antonio: actually i only met 1 woman who was as adbventurous and kinky as i am
ME: good for you
ME: i hope you were protected
Antonio: of corse
Antonio: no condoms no sex
ME: always??
Antonio: yup
Antonio: but i am kinky
Antonio: i like golden showers but only from women i know well
ME: define kinky?
Antonio: well something very few people would do
ME: that’s not a definition
Antonio: kinky is doing something that is beyond the ordinary. Out of the box
ME: kinky is twisted
ME: perverted, esp sex
ME: showing or appealing to bizarre or deviant tastes; “kinky sex”; “perverted practices”
Antonio: wow a walking dictionary
ME: sheesh
ME: dictionary.com
ME: Showing or appealing to bizarre or deviant tastes, especially of a sexual or erotic nature:
ME: is your taste bizarre?
Antonio: it has been at times…of course depends on how bizarre the woman im with allows it
Antonio: to some women anything other than missionary position is bizarre
Antonio: the thing is i will go as bizarre as the woman would allow
Antonio: i like getting peed on
ME: drinking pee?
Antonio: maybe
ME: wanking on cam?
Antonio: yeah
ME: that;s common actually
ME: lots of men do that
Antonio: yeah
Antonio: what do u enjoy when u fuck
ME: secret
Antonio: or do u enjoy it at all
Antonio: i love sucking a woman’s clits
Antonio: and tongue fucking her pussy
Antonio: and licking her ass
Antonio: i love to have her sit on my face with pussy wide open and rubbing it on my tongue
ME: Hahaha! Try harder!
Antonio: i guess that is boring to such a sexally knowlegeable person like you
ME: Antonio: i guess that is boring to such a sexally knowlegeable person like you <--- you make me laugh... a classic sign of being judgemental Antonio: sorry but i cant seem to be on the same page as you Antonio: i will be judgemental and say that you fit the role of being a dominant person Antonio: but to get humiliated by someone like you would not be enjoyable to mee Antonio: nice meeting you Antonio: at least ill know who to stay away form ME: Antonio: at least ill know who to stay away form <--- you sound like a petulant kid who cant have a new toy so he throws a fit... a sour graping person. Wanna hear me moan?

A old definition of living at cause, of living at effect.
I found the following interesting. A old definition of living at cause, of living at effect.
"Those who can solve their problems are called wise; but nobody, however wise, can make another person wise. We cannot solve another person's problem for him. One thing, however, we can sometimes do to help another in his problem if he is seeking for help. We can reinterpret his problem for him and so give it back to him, looking different, presenting a new aspect, so that he may perhaps make more effective progress with solving it for himself."- sandygodheart

Whoaaaaaaaaa!!!
Are you saving yourself for your wedding night? The Devil wants you to fail, that’s why he puts stumbling blocks in your way. But God wants you to succeed, and that’s why he has given us an alternative to intercourse before marriage: anal sex. Through anal sex, you can satisfy your body’s needs, while you avoid the risk of unwanted pregnancy and still keep yourself pure for marriage.

No to condoms, Yes to death
"Those who are still in school have no business having access to condoms. Those who are in university and are not married have no business having condoms in their halls of residence," she told schoolgirls in the capital, Nairobi, on Thursday evening.
HIV/AIDS activists were shocked by her advice because they know that kids as young as 15 are already sexually active.
Some 1.5m Kenyans have died of Aids or HIV-related diseases since 1984, reports the AFP news agency.
Wow! How many Filipinos have died of HIV/AIDS? Not even half of that number. But that's not far from happening here if we keep being ignorant and prude. There is nothing wrong with abstinence, IF people can practice control. Can we practice control? We are a country of Roman Catholic fornicators. Hehehehe.
Read Kenyan first lady in Aids storm.
At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity: idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religous or political ideas.

Da Vinci Code Brouhaha
Board chairwoman Marissa Laguardia told The Associated Press that the movie would be a "test of faith" for many people in the predominantly Roman Catholicn nation.
"And those groups, like the conservatives who want it banned, maybe they can tell their friends, discourage their friends from watching it," she said. The review panel said the movie will be shown without cuts.
Review panel member Betty Molina said the censors were not pressured by any
group.
Another panel member, Eric Mallonga, said blasphemy is a religious term and the board as a civil agency "is not required to exercise a religious test" in reviewing films.Buti naman.
Some nights ago I saw this news bit on Mike Velarde's opinion regarding the Da Vinci Code. Napabilib ako kasi sabi nya na let the viewers be the judge na lang kasi mature naman daw ang mga Pilipinong manonood. He also said that the CBCP is giving the movie free advertising by making so much ruckus over it. Tama siya ha!

Para sa mga Lalaki at Babae
I fell in love and got hurt but I didn't shed too much tears nor did I ask him to love me again. Instead, I stood up proudly and said, "Ganyan talaga ang magaganda! Kaya for the last time yakapin mo siya at ibulong mo, "Gago, kukulamin kita!"
Girls, talo daw sayo sa mga boys? Papayag kayo? Sige, pag niligawan tayo, sagot agad. Pag iniwan tayo? Ok lang. Kapag sinabi nilang, "Uy, ex ko." Alam niyo sagot diyan? "Ay, ambisyoso."
If the one you love doesn't love you back, don't get depressed. Just think about it for a while, maybe cry a bit then wipe your tears and say, "Ang weird naman niya. Di siya pumapatol sa magaganda!" You only got one life so live it well., one heart so take good care, one soul so keep it pure. One boyfriend? What a waste! Make it two or more! Sayang ganda natin!
Pag sinabi sayo ng mahal mo na ayaw na niya sayo, hayaan mo lang. Wag kang iiyak at magpapakagago! Imbis na iyakan mo siya, ngitian mo lang at sabihin mo ang ganito, "So, pano? Bye na!Naghihintay na ang kapalit mo!" Who cares about break-ups? Oo nga, masakit. Makirot sa puso. Pero tandaan mo: a break-up isn't only an end to a relationship. It's also a beginning of a new one and an end to a living hell called "ex".

And the winner is...
A six footer caucasian guy explained to me why his handle is tinywilly. Sabi nya ang kanyang badoodels ay maliit, 3 inches pag galit. Hindi ako maniwala so sabi ko titignan ko. Nung pinakita nya on cam nagulat ako, maliit nga! I asked him how women reacted when they saw his thingy, they would all laugh daw. "Pumapayag ba naman silang makipag chuckchakan sa iyo?" tanong ko, pumapayag naman daw sila kasi he is good with his dila daw.
Kamalditahan ko, I captured a pic of his manoy to show to people. Pag nalaman nya nasa website ang picpic ng manoy nya I'm sure titigasan na naman sya. Hehehe.

I Hate Death!
I abhor going to wakes and funerals. I feel like if I open my mouth, something inappropriate would just spill out and make me look stupid or offend the family of the deceased. But I know I have to go to these "social" events.
The mom of one of my students passed away Sunday morning. She succumbed to cancer. Mr Santos asked me if I'm that close to the kid since I told him I will be dropping by the wake today. I told him that he's a student, that makes me close to him. Besides, I'm sure his family will appreciate my presence, a sign of support. But what do I say to him and his family? I didn't even meet his mom; it was his uncle who talked to me all the time since the mom's bedridden.
Hay buhay! This is very akward. I dont know what to expect; I don't know what to say. I just feel sorry for my student.
I hate death. Whether it's someone else's death or mine. I'm surely not looking forward to mine anytime soon!

Sexy Daw Ako?!
I never considered myself sexy, at least not in the physical sense. I never even considered myself physically attractive to most men. I am flattered this guy included me on this list. Nagkukuwento lang ako naging sexy na ako! Hihihi.
His blog surely has a lot to offer. Apparently he takes time to read a lot of blogs and all differents posts in each blog. Elibs ako! Dami ko na babasahin ulit, his blog and the blogs on his list.
I'm sure he's sexy himself. It takes one to know one!
I wonder if Basang Panaginip means Wet Dreams... Hmmm...

Laziness or Child Depression?
I asked her name, she told me her name but she didn't smile. It felt like she was angry or something. Then I asked her what her problem is, she said she doesn't want to go to school. I told her she has to finish grade 2, she's got a few months left before summer starts, it would be a waste if she just stops and then repeat grade 2. She had this demeanor that was tough, like she was angry at someone but trying hard not to show it. She was wearing pambahay clothes and a cap. Her father removed the cap, her hair had these colored rubberbands, like someone fixed her hair before she went to school in the morning but it all got messy somehow and she doesn't really care how she looks.
While her mother and I were talking about her and her experiences in school, she appeared disinterested. She fidgeted, sang to herself softly, gazed at all the corners of the room but tried to avoid looking at me except for a few times when her mother and I discussed the possibility of transferring her to another school. Not my idea, of course.
I can't help but think that she is depressed. I did some research and found this on the website of Oregon Counselling, written by Michael G. Conner, Psy.D. She seems to have some of the signs of depression namely:
# Crying, feeling sad, helpless or hopeless
# Feeling discouraged or worthless
# Loss of interest or pleasure in others or most activities
# Drop in school performance
# Inability to sit still, fidgeting or pacing (she stood 2 times to go to her father, she wanted him to carry him or sit on his lap; it seemed like she felt safer sitting on her father's lap but then she would go back to her seat after a while)
She wasn't rude or anything like that, I sensed that she's unhappy and was trying not to show it, she was indifferent. She seemed angry and she definitely was disinterested in anything that was related to school.
From what I gathered she was harassed/bullied in school... By some school officials. Hmmm...
Her mother doesn't want her to repeat grade 2 due to obvious reasons: waste of time and money among other things. Her parents are definitely worried because they don't know how to help her. I just hope I can help her.
Good luck to me! Hehehe.

Oh No!
IBALIK NYO AKO SA PILIPINAS!!! Waaahhhhh!!! Ayoko na dito!!! Akala yata ng mga tae dito sumusuka ako ng pera! Pati karpintero sobra singil! Mabuti pa yung karpintero namin sa Manila maayos kausap. Grabe!
I made a terrible mistake, and expensive one at that! It's pretty clear now I shouldn't have moved. I want to move back to Manila but I can't, I don't have money anymore and I don't want to go back to our house there, not after having my own place.
I have no one to blame but myself. Palpak desisyon ko! Ang tanga ko! I frustrated over this kapalpakan. Sumasakit sikmura ko, nasusuka ako but I can't afford to go out. Heck, I don't have money for an antacid tablet! Que lastima!
Hay buhay!
Happy New Year
New year, new look for my blog. I'm still fixing my template. It's quite hard to do stuff online when one has no unlimited internet access. Bagal pa ng dial up. Haayy syet.
Lots of new changes in my life, positive ba or negative? Wait and see muna, too soon to say. I hope things get better, I hope I learn soon if my decision has been good or not so I can just go back and continue my life there.
Oh well...
Btw, my template does look like my friendster's template! Hehehe.
